This is my cosplay of Astrid Hofferson, in her Viking version from How to Train Your Dragon 3 – The Hidden World.

I made everything entirely by hand: the foam armor, worked and painted to achieve that worn and realistic metal effect, the jacket covered in faux leather, sewn and finished with care, and every single detail—from the axe to the synthetic furs, down to the accessories—designed to stay true to the character’s style.

I chose this costume for the final performance video of the European Cosplay Gathering, a project that meant a lot to me.

Astrid is a warrior, but also a leader: determined, intelligent, loyal. Bringing her to life was my way of expressing the values I deeply believe in.
