I adore Edelgard, the strong and authoritative empress of Fire Emblem: Three Houses. This cosplay comes from my deep passion for a character who embodies strength, elegance, and an imposing stage presence.

One of the elements I care about most is the cape: the golden eagle was designed in Illustrator, punched, and then machine-embroidered with golden thread to achieve a refined and majestic effect, perfect for paying tribute to the original costume.

The shield is made entirely of foam, with the central eagle hand-sculpted in foam clay, while Aymr, Edelgard’s famous axe, was carved from polyurethane foam and coated in foam clay: durable, yet light and comfortable to carry during events and conventions.

This project gave me the chance to combine different craft techniques: tailoring, embroidery, hand modeling, and prop finishing. It’s one of the cosplays I’m most proud of!
