The little package I received is really cute. The lens cases are all sealed and come in a box that also includes tweezers. What a dream! I also got a free little mirror.
I chose 4 types of lenses: Himalaya Blue, Egypt Blue, Real Khaki, and Eureka Seven Sakuya!
Let’s start with the Himalaya Blue! I’ll be honest: natural lenses always worry me because there’s the risk they won’t be covering enough. But instead…! I COULD WEAR THEM EVERY SINGLE DAY! They’re so beautiful! Definitely my favorites. Another risk was that they could be too small: usually I’m used to buying 14.5mm lenses to enlarge my eyes. These are 14mm, but they still make a huge impact.
Let’s move on to another pair of natural lenses: the Egypt Blue. Yep, my characters almost always have blue eyes, so I wanted to test different shades. These lenses are darker but still really pretty and with great coverage! They’re also available in different colors.
Now let’s move on to the Real Khaki. I was looking for lenses for a new character I’d like to work on, M from Xenoblade 3. They’re not exactly the bright yellow I was aiming for, but I have to say they’re perfect for one of my upcoming Monster Hunter characters. Very light, yet not unrealistic!
Finally, the lenses I got to portray Edelgard from Fire Emblem: Three Houses: the Eureka Seven Sakuya. Definitely extravagant! They have a smaller iris, which makes them perfect for this type of character (even though I still need to get used to seeing a bit more… purple).
