Your new cosplay is perfect, but the moment you step into the convention… bam! Your skirt tears, a scale comes off, and your sword even breaks… what STRESS!
But nothing is lost if you always carry the Cosplayer’s survival kit with you! What’s inside? I’ll show you right now in this COS-SECRET!
- Do you have electronic parts? Spare batteries are an absolute must!
- I always carry some velcro with me, you never know!
- Armor fanatic? Then always carry a bottle of contact glue! But remember to seal it in a plastic bag. The cap could unscrew during the trip and flood your pouch!
- Max Repair! Fantastic for fixing many materials, especially the sole of a shoe that just came unglued! It’s not a quick-drying glue, so after using it I still recommend taking a little break!
- Scotch tape! Hey, you always need it.
- Masking tape! Always useful, part two!
- Always, if you have electronic parts with you, some electrical tape.
- Rivets and spare parts for the pieces of your cosplay.
- Blunt scissors, no, definitely not the ones with rounded tips! (but don’t try to take these on a plane).
- Spools of cotton thread (preferably in the colors of the cosplay you’ll wear) or white and black, a needle, and some safety pins.
